Making the department an ideal centre for learning and the fruits of which would percolate to the economically and socially deprived students who hail from the deprived classes of the rural poverty-stricken and drought prone areas of Ananthapuramu city district. The following ideas are perceived through the vision of the Department:

• In addition to importing qualitative academic excellence, creation of social consciousness is felt predominant.
• Providing all-round personality development which will enable them to face the challenges and competitions of the modern world in the context of globalization and computerization bravely and patiently by upgrading the modern soft-skills.
• Creation of a clean serene and pure atmosphere by becoming role models for the posterity and shaping the future of the new generation of an ambitious India.
• Making the students help the deprived and the under-privileged classes of society.
• Making the students highly secular by giving them the democratic principles of liberty, equality and fraternity.

Mission is the translation of ideas into realities and vision into action plans. In order to achieve the above said desired vision, missionary zeal is very much essential. With the collective cooperation and coordination of the members of the entire faculty, the following parameters are undertaken with missionary zeal:

• Stimulation of the academic environment by providing qualitative education through the well-planned annual action plan.
• Periodical assessment of the students through mid internal examinations, assignments and providing remedial coaching to the slow learners and thereby making them liable and accountable for their academic performance.
• Making the students to be accessible to library and the electronic gadgets which are the true windows for the new horizons of knowledge.
• Conducting the seminars and national seminars to share and imbibe the valuable views, rich experience, creative thoughts and innovative skills of the learned professors and the erudite scholars is very much essential to ignite and enlighten the students of the rural community.
• Annual self-assessment of the achievements with the retrospective effect in order to make further changes and improvements for the better progress of the institution.
