SEED MONEY
Realizing the need for quality and useful research, Government College encourages staff to take up innovative research projects by giving them seed money.
☛Educational institution is a place where the future of the students is shaped and thereby the density of the nation is carved. Hence it has a special place in thesociety and needs special code of conduct. Along with general conduct rules prescribed by the Government, the teaching staff of the colleges may follow the code of conduct given below.
The following are the terms and conditions for the College contribution:
☛Every year seed money is given to any 4 staff after submitting the application.
☛The research proposal should be submitted to the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) with the application for the grant of seed money.
☛If there are more than 4 applications RAC will select 4 best proposals. The outcome of the research should benefit any or all of the stakeholders of the college.
☛The staff who received the grant for one year cannot receive again within a period of 5 years from the year of grant received.
☛The staff is not required to return the seed money but should submit a report/ thesis of the research work and an audited statement of account with all the bills for the use of the seed money.
☛There should be a follow up of the outcome of the research.
